Vibrating Gear Knob / Gaz Golds Adjustments

Just had a mod done on the car which required the removal of the gearbox now at 4krpm the Gear knob rattles had it all in bits and it's the knob any ideas or anybody else had this problem.

Also had Gaz Gold Pro's fitted and a full set up done the shocks where set at 7 front & rear but at 70-80mph on the motorway the car felt like it was bobing up & down quite a horrible feeling makes you quite sick.
Spoke to Derrik and tried both at 5 still slightly there so tried 5 Front & 4 rear and it has done the trick.
Just wondered what others are running there Gaz shocks at?

Are you sure its your knob and not the shaft.... Shaft on the gear stick is mounted using a grub screw that can work loose even when glued in. Under the center console below the rubber boot (which has perrished if its anything like mine) Better replaced with a bolt as others have done as its easier to re-tighten. New rubber boots are from Castle E0096#TV guessing it came from Multipart off something french as the packaging was not in english

Yep stripped it all down to just the shaft with the knob only fitted still vibrated unscrewed the knob vibration gone.

Screw the ferrule right down then tighten locknut against the knob, then screw the ferrule up to the knob.

The vibration is the knob in some way?

I get this to Barry. It's annoying because you can hear it rattling. Will be taking the gear knob apart this weekend and get rid of the rattling
