Following on from an earlier post somewhere about recording vinyl onto a PC in WAV format and then putting it on CD I thought I'd have a play.

It all works fine BUT Sound Recorder seems to only allow you to record a 60 second burst of sound which is a problem.

Is there any way of changing the length or do I need a different program?

Cheers.

You need a different program.

Not tried it for pure audio, but Windows Movie Maker might do the trick.

In the past I have used a vintage (but functional) copy of Sound Forge to take samples.

Thanks for the replys - I found a program called Nero Wave Editor that came with my new laptop (I'd not noticed it bundled with the software) that seems to do the trick
