In need of some new back tyres for the monaro, however dont know where to start.

Do I go 235/35/19's or 245/35/19's?

Am I best sticking with the Pzero's that are standard or can I get more grip from say Michelin Pilot Sport 2's?

Its a supercharged LS2 and im after the most grip I can get as im not used to the RWD that much yet.

Any suggestions or advice are most welcome!

245/35/19's is the correct size. P zeros are ok. The only other one i would recommend is the continental sport contact 2's.

FWIW, the continentals are often on ebay cheaply brand new.
I got a pair of 285x19 M5 take off's for £85.

Factory fit is the 235 IIRC, but they as Stig says are gayers. Go with the 245's

Factory on the 19s is 245, not 235.

I see that event tyres sell P Zeros, P Zero Neros and P Zero Rossos (in ascending price order). Can anyone clarify for me what the difference between these is out of curiosity? It's not like the tyre companies seem to be making it easy for the customer to find out.

Nero is a softer, more grippy Rosso. Never seen a plain PZero on a 'Ro.

Nitrosman has Nero on rear of his.

I've just had P Zero's fitted all round because Kwik fit couldn't supply Nero or Rosso at the time. Had the for the same price. They are OE for a Ferrari 599 amongst others so I thought they should be OK. They replaced F1's on the back which were awful. The car now handles with much more confidence and doesn't loll about on acceleration anymore. Would recommend them.
