Paul in the Netherlands has removed his cats. He's on Lambo Power as D1ABLO, IIRC. He installed a Quicksilver kit.

He said it wasn't easy to get everything out and then fit the Quicksilver, but he'll be glad to tell you all about it

I must say that is one of the hardest jobs i have done on a car, spoke to rob at grimaldi, told me to loosen the engine mounts and raise the rear of the engine, Have removed both cats, now the easy part, had to cut all four bolts on cat heat shield as they where not going to move, you know those puzzles the grand parents used to buy you in the 70's, thats what getting the buggers out was like. Better be worth all this, and for the step ladder, has anyone tried working on a diablo before!!!!

Have you got another car yet martin?

Jon

I get my new caterham r500 next month. plan on doing plenty of trackdays this year, Including european. I know all to well what it's like starting a job on the car that you think is going to be a doddle but turns into a complete nightmare. Stick with it and the end result will be all the reward you need.

regards

Martin
