xbox 360 not working

My sons xbox 360 has stopped working, it powers up ok, and sound is ok, but has no picture. Any ideas, or antone know where to get it repaired Swindon aerea if poss.

how old is it?

Do you know somebody else with a xbox so you can try their AV lead?

Its about 18 months old, just tried it with my other sons, His is new and didn't work there either. They have a different power socket now! (wasted journey to find that out)

Also tried it with AV lead, & HDMI lead, neither work.

Worth a go? Just in case a resolution has been changed and accepted for a screen which can't use the setting?

Reset Xbox 360 video settings:
While the Xbox 360 is starting up, hold Y and Right trigger. This will cause the system to reboot and reset the video settings
