Spam type mail advertising the other forum

Has anyone else recieved an email telling them to visit CTF if they are unhappy with this place's changes?

I am signed up as a member of CTF but never post there and quite like PH.

The PH'er that the mail is from is not a regular poster and is not one of those that I recognise from CTF. If any of the mods or HM people want to look into this PM me and I will send you a copy of the email.

This is certainly not official CTF policy.

There have, naturally, been several threads on CTF - involving mostly those who are regular users of both forums - complaining about the recent changes on PH and many people have commented that those changes couldn't have been better designed to annoy people and make them seek an alternative forum. That is just the normal currency of the users of a forum responding personally to events.

There is absolutely no attempt by CTF to officially exploit the situation and we definitely do not want anyone taking it into their heads to send spam "on behalf of" CTF.

Please send me a copy of the email including all the headers, not just the body text.

PM sent Pigeon, I don't quite understand it because the message wasn't from one of the usual dissenters over here. I know CTF don't do that kind of thing but when I opened it I thought it was a variation of the periodical mail out from CTF.

Mr Will, I think this thread can be killed now because I don't want to stir up any inter forum bickering.

Pigeon has had a look at their members and may contact you for more info and PH mods also have the email.
