S Club camping

Hi everyone

A previous thread confirmed that there was sufficient interest to organise some group camping near Gaydon. The list of those that originally expressed an interest, plus some others who have been in touch with me, is below....

For anyone not yet aware GeraldTVR (aka Norman) has found us a suitable site:

It's only 6 miles from Gaydon, costs £5 per night per adult, has toilets/showers etc (but no electrical hook ups) and there is a pub 15/20 mins walk along the canal called The Folly, The Locks Folly Lane, Napton, CV47 8NZ.

Norman has been spoken to the campsite again this week and although they do not require payment in advance they would appreciate knowing roughly how many people are coming (20 places have been provisionally booked so far).

The list is not a commitment to attend but will help us to gauge numbers and liase with the campsite. Therefore, can you please:
- Add your name if you would like to camp
- Remove your name if/when you have changed your mind
- Make sure you add 2 entries if you want 2 tents ("name + 1" is ok if you're sharing your tent with someone else)

Due to my flight to the US the following day I won't be camping, but will come to the site on the Saturday evening to meet up with you all for a "soft drink" prior to driving back to Swindon once it gets dark - with the roof off of course.

Also as an aside there is a Wiltshire TVRCC meet at Castle Coombe on the Saturday if anyone may be interested in attending, it is an open event for multi marques but Ralph the RO for wiltshire will have more details if anyone is interested

Well I'll be staying at my tent with a glass of orange juice and a good book.... Oh what the hell, it is S Club afterall

I'd already thought of that Wiz and emailed Norman earlier. If there ends up being LOADS of names on this list then it might be worth a call to warn them. If anyone wants to eat at the pub I suggest booking a table in advance

well, everyone tends to abbreviate me to CCM, so I changed Coolcatmaz to CCM, then everyone moaned that they didn't know who I was as it confused them
