E30 ENGINE CONVERSION, HELP???

Hi i was wandering if anyone could advise me whether a 530i engine out of a 1995 car would fit in an e30, and if so is it worthwhile, i.e. economical to do or generally too much work and messing about, cheers in advance, jack

Is that the V8? The V8's not easy but there's a fair few running around now. Thing is though if you're going to go to all the trouble of putting the V8 in, you might as well make it the 4.4!
