I recently had some lowering springs fitted to my R8 by stealer and since then the steering is pulling the car to the left. When I contacted the service manager he said that is normal with those types of springs and tyres.

Is this the case and what difference would the process of fitting lowering springs make to the wheels / tracking anyway?

Ps – Feels much tighter now, better stance (if you know what I mean).

Most likely the tracking, unless the camber has also being thrown out on one side also.
Was an alignment check done after the suspension work?
If not i'd ask them to do it again, or take it down to one of the friendly garages mentioned a plenty on here.

Hate it when dealers try it on with the "They all do that sir" line. Unless they're setting the car up for Nascar their answer is a big fat load of hairy bumcrack. Personally I wouldn't allow them anywhere near the car again with that kind of attitude.

Thats nonsense! If its aligned correctly and there are no tyre issues it will track fine. Im assuming it was OK before?

Thanks guys, my thoughts also.

Just to clarify the set up was fine before it went in, no pull at all. They said they would look at it if I drop it in but thought it best to prepare for their lean on the bonnet approach!
