Hi,

I am currently evaluating PaintShield and VentureShield for their paint protection film. If you have any useful information, feedback or constructive comments, I would appreciate you taking some time to review and post to the following thread, thank you:

whatever you do do not go to Permagard/ Mastershield as they wont do the paint correction first and just put their crap over dirt and bugs leaving it bubbling and starting to peel off after a few days..

thats what happened to me..

not bad for £1400..

Venture sheild on my car has shrunk back in some places. I wouldn't use it again.

I see your thread has gone down a storm!

Maybe you should've just asked "has anyone got lots of nice things to say about any of their friends in the clingfilm for cars business" rather than asking for genuine experiences that others may have had!

I also see the link above has been censored and closed. Just so we are clear, this forum is not being moderated via China is it??

There's some 'issues' in the thread, so it's been moved out of the way for a bit so it can me sorted out and it doesn't end up with legal problems smile

For a moment i was starting to get a bit worried that our mods were turning into the tossers on Fchat.

Good question. I'll drop a few hints and see if there's a resolution. The issue is when every these threads start 2 people start going hammer and tongs at each other!

Me, I just paint my car every so often smile

Had some of this done on the maser. Tom from on this forum did it. On the a40 a sign fell off a bus at 40 mph scraped all the way up the fron of the car. The purple paint transfer (tmobile) scraped on to the film and no deeper. Luckily it just seemed to wipe off and on only leave feint marks on the film only. was quite surprised and in quite a few miles i haven't had a stone chip through the film. So im happy.

As posted on the 'other thread!'.
I have a number of clients in common with Tom at Paintshield.
1st class product, never heard anything even verging on a negative report.
I have no affiliation nor other ties to Paintshield, just impressed with top craftsmanship & an excellent product.

Had my Superleggera Venturshielded 15 months ago. I've been very impressed with it overall, with a good install and its saved me from paint work damage twice. Good stuff

Just as a matter of interest, and seeing as your original thread has been bullied into the "mod's closet", did you get round to buying some clingfilm for your car?

Hi Spiderman.

Yes, I have agreed to go with Tom at PaintShield. I know that Tom will really look after me; I have been very impressed with the work he has already performed and with the feedback I have received from existing customers.

Not quite bullied, the fact is that the thread was moved as it was full of N&S and couldn't continue as it was.

I'm quite happy for a topic to run on this subject, but over the years most end up going the same way sadly.

Ok... I've googled... I've even urban dictionaried
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=ns

What's N&S?

I'm guessing from the context that it's either a slanging match or advertising based?
