Now 194.5 at wheels and 230bhp flywheel, plus 251lbs torque.
Starting figure on original session (10 days ago) was only 177 at wheels, 234 torque... so not too bad for purely twiddling and adjustable fuel reg.

Don't know why the link became corrupted....but edited in a new link, and seems ok now.
As with the the one a couple of weeks ago, this was a proper diagnostic session with every (accessible) system on the engine being thoroughly checked and optimised, as well as fuel regulator being fitted.
To me it makes so much more sense than chasing your tail in your garage, and probably replacing perfectly good parts.
You also gain peace of mind knowing that timing and fuel mixture is correct and not trying to destroy the motor.
It will be interesting to see if proper ultrasonic cleaning of the injectors will improve anything, and that's the next job.
Only when I feel that the last horse has been rung out of the standard set-up will I consider spending money on 'upgrades'.
Fun though, isn't it.
Total cost of 4 hours dyno time (including cost and fitting of power boost valve), resulting in an extra 17 bhp at the WHEELS, plus extra 17lbs of torque was £388 inc vat.
I reckon that's pretty good value...even for a tight-fisted Yorky like me.
