Charlie, seriously why didnt you push my car harder. You ran Stigs four times and mine only two. Cant help but feel that i could have gotten a better result if it had of had more chance????????

TBH - the more you run them the hotter they get and the less power they produce. Even NA suffers a little with this. Anyhow its not how much you have its what you do with it that counts.. wink

No pleasing some folk.

Take your own advice, Mel. Be satisfied :-)

That's a great figure ;-) and the car was fine too :-)

I think you'll recall there was little change from run 1 to run 2 and Charlie though they was no point chasing shadows.

Mel, two runs would be the norm at any rr day I've ever been to. Only reason I've ever seen them do more is if they think they are having problems with the way the car is tied down or belt slip with a supercharged car.

Charlie has run thousands of cars on that rig thumbup I'm absolutely sure that he would have done another run if he thought he could get even a couple of hp more out of it.

You should be well pleased with your car, as that was a great result on the day. Have another look at the cars where decent money has been spent on them, and you weren't far off thumbup

One more thing. IMO the real buzz at the dyno is seeing and hearing your own car at full noise, rather than the actual result (Unless of course you are spending big money chasing every last HP from your engine like some of the boys).

I remember the smile on your face when you first saw a V8 dyno run... and that I will never forget!! bouncebiggrinbiggrin

Mel it was because I did not believe it would have gained more power had i run it again, Generally a couple of runs is all you will get out of a Monaro on warm day, Stigs was a bit of an exception
