Does any one else keep on hearing people referring to things as 'good times/bad times' and finding it very aggravating?

It really annoys me that these tts think it's cool to say and completey over use this ste saying.

Everytime I hear someone (usually 16-26) say it I want to poke their eyes out.

Bad fking times indeed.

I fail to see the correlation between 'good times' and looking like an old hag with a beard personally.

Neve heard of it. But I'm surprised Labour aren't jigging about to Fine Young Cannibal's 'Good times' following on from 1997's 'Things can only get better'...

well it irks me as well so you are not alone, my daughters boyfriend uses it all the time, i have told him if he moves in he has to stop smile

by the way he is 22, she is 21 and he is paying £400+ for a room a month at the moment and paying back his landlord (a mate) £500 for a loan he gave him, leaves him not much, just in case you wondered why

Never heard the phrase. Is it like "happy days"? The first time I heard "happy days!" was from the mouth of a chav so when ever someone types it on here it reminds me of that chav, and so if anyone uses it you will be associated with a chav. Just thought you might like to know. thumbup

What if we were talking about the TV programme chronicling the adventures of Richie Cunningham and his mad cap gang ?

hehe It's only when it's said in a joyous way to indicate approval. I just imagine the way that chav said the phrase.
