I'm thinking of a wood effect sreering wheel, any suggestions please

Wood gets slippery when it's damp (sweaty hands etc), and if it's real wood has been known to crack in a crash and sent splinters into your wrists. So from a safety/usability point of view, it doesn't seem like a great idea.

there is a wood type 1 in classifieds £75 it is the same a the 1 in my S

Don`t forget Norman,you also need a boss to suit.My moto-lita & boss cost approx.£160 the boss alone was about £60 with postage.I left mine on when I sold the car simply because I sold to a friend.John. (It did look lovely though)

I've had 2 S's with leather wheels and one with the wood. The leather feels much much better to me and gives more confidence/feel when driving, maybe because of the "softness" of the padding and the leather and the fact the the diameter of the grip (not the actual wheel) is bigger with the leather ones.

I'm sure they'll be some fitted to cars at S Club. Why not wait until then and see how they feel in your hands?
