Guys, I'm off work from now until 22nd april and as ever I've left it to the last minute to work out what to do with the time.

Pondering taking a driving holiday across Europe (something I've never done before) - with the wife and two kids (both under 8 yrs old) for say 4-5 days.

So any pointers? Is it a silly idea given the age of the kiddies and have I left it too late ?

Thanks in advance.

Get on the interweb to get something booked, get down the BdC for a wallet of Euros and get in the car and on your way!

Driving holiday + 2 kids = nightmare. Whilst we might like driving and experiencing the journey rather than the destination, the kids will be bored stiff. Save that for when it's just you and the missus and you can really enjoy it.

If I were you I'd look at getting a few days camping in say in the Vendee. Weather should be better a few degrees warmer than here and our kids have always loved the region. Good cheap wine too smile

get on your way - sitting out in the back garden outside Milan, 23 degrees, sunny with a Perroni in hand....... ahhh the life!
