There's one in the Mercedes network at the moment for £170,000.
There's also a convertible version on Autotrader priced at £184,000.
There's only 100 coupes and 100 convertibles made, so they'll always command a hell of a premium.
I believe the coupe was close to £200k when new, but £170,000 is way too much.
Prestige car dealer "Romans Internationa" have had a couple of coupes for sale over the last 3 years, priced at £155,000-£160,000.
All these DTMs mentioned were the rarer Right Hand Drive versions.

I had hoped around 80K but just dreaming I guess. Still, if that lotto win comes up.
The cheapest one appeared a few months ago with a broker for £125,000. How much these cars actually sell for is anyone`s guess. The prices will drop in time, it`s just a waiting game. I would be tempted with a higher mileage one to trackday, as a replacement for my CLK 55, but is it worth 15 times mine? Anyway a fantastic car and I would love to have a go in one.
As far as I can tell you'll be just as pleased with one of these.

Yes, although I think the DTM will be the real collectors item in the future. The Black probably beats it on all other fronts.http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C83059/
Do you think these CLK Blacks have further to drop in price? I'm thinking the usual 50% after 3 years may apply here.
Hi, The Mercedes auction is on Thursday. I will try and get some info. Is this the first DTM to go to auction in the UK? It would be great when these cars get used more and their prices become more appealing, as in cheaper. The Black Series is great, but for me it would have to be the DTM............ in black!

Hi, Have rung Colchester, but they can`t find a DTM on the system. A reg. no. would help? Anyone know a bit more? Maybe it is a Black and not a DTM. There is confusion about these 2 cars.
That's because it was sold at the prestige auction yesterday. Reg was W10DTM. It was an April 2006 car with 3755 miles on the clock. Not sure what it sold for but will try and find out... Where's V8mate with his auction reports when you need him?cccscotland said:

It was priced at the dealer for £170,000.
ETA:
Also, I read on PH that V8mate was requested, by Manheim, to cease his auction reports. I'm not sure why they didn't want reports

They are now posted on 'another forum' (go figure!). Together with all the info about Wayne Rooney's DTM

Are you still able to post about them?

And that DTM was Wayne Rooney's?!

Darren
This is what the auction house sent out in their brochure.

A special version of the CLK is the CLK DTM AMG sports car, which looks similar to the full race car for the German Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters racing series which has to use a normally aspirated 4.0L V8, limited to less than 500 hp. 100 Coupés and 80 Convertibles were released for sale in Europe, using AMG's supercharged 5.4 L V8, now producing 428 kW (582 PS) and 800 N·m (590 ft·lbf). The front and rear track are widened by 2.9 and 4.2 inches (74 and 110 mm) respectively, and special tires and suspension modifications allow the car to pull 1.35 g (13 m/s²) of lateral acceleration. 0-100 km/h acceleration is just 3.9 seconds, and top speed is 320 km/h (199 mph). In Germany, the car cost 236,060 euro after taxes.
They announced at the sale that the previous owner was Mr Rooney and (I think they said) that it was number 1 of 100. (I would stand corrected on that though)Gassing Station | Mercedes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
