Has anyone done the lower travel limit, can it be adjusted
. Mine doesn't quite sink into the door and leaves a ridge to make it uncomfortable when you put your arm on it to hold the roof up, or is this just a trait of the early cars
.
Thats to tell you keep both hands on the wheel.

On a serious note, I think theres just a little lip no matter what. I dont like having my arm out the window in the Cerb anyway, as every now and again, especially when 'making progress' on less than perfect roads - the Cerb decides we've had a bit too much air and closes the windows.

The arm support is only for when I use the car to commute and I'm stuck in traffic or pootling along. Normally the windows are pretty much up all the way and my two sweaty hands are gripping the wheel for dear life
.ive got my door cards in bits at the moment and from what i can see the way to extend the amount of lift is to clamp the glass in it holders a few mm higher and possibly adjust the bolt/nut syle stopper on the end of the window mechanism rollers.
ive taken my window runners out to renew the felt lining. ive bought a shed load of adhesive felt and ive already relined the rubbers and have like over a metre left. easy to do. door card off. slacken 4 allen key bolts retaining glass in the holders. pull glass out. remove the runners. extract the rubbers. clean the outside of rubbers with some wd40 and scrape the inside of the rubbers with a flat head screwdriver then bang against a wall like a car mat to remove debris. place felt inside runner and run an appropriate sized allen key all the way down the rubber to fold the felt nicely inside to the runners contours. then tirm the excess with stanley or scissors. use a hair dryer to adhere edges if some decide they dont want to stick like the rest. then wd40 the metal runner frame and slide rubber runner back in place. may need to drag it through frame with a pliers on one end of the rubber. i did mine in 15 minutes. i dont know if it has improved the window lift speed yet as the car is in bits but it got to help as the old rubbers were near enough rubber to glass which is sticky when hot hence the turtoise speedy windows
if anyone wants some felt to line the window runners let me know via email £3 plus postage and it will be enough to do your 4 window runners and some spare to cover any catching corners on doors or bonnet where paint is rubbing off.

Some of the wind noise is down to poor seals. Some is due to the wing mirrors and lack of aero testing on TVRs part... though I reckon they worked that out at a later date, but not had a chance to test it - thats a whole different topic though.
Hmm, watch this space maybe?
Sounds interesting... Perhaps we can have a chat later in the week?Hmm, watch this space maybe?

Cheers for all the assistance folks. I have now adjusted the windows so that they fit the seals perfectly...
...and still have the wind noise
I've tried all this, need to put felt on my runners as at some point it's been removed, anyone know where to source the top rubber from...and still have the wind noise
