.....its a bit big on the wrist though!

It a real nice suprise to get it as I bought it on a dodgy ebay style site and it came from far far away so I was half expecting it to be fake, or for it to never arrive.

The second had sweeps round and the quality is excellent. Very pleased indeed smile

My little compact can't handle it in the dark.

Just been under the duvet trying to shoot it. Its very bright!

I'll take some next time I get the Nikon out of the safe smile

Where did you get it from? Do they make other watch looking clocks?

Panerai make a few different clock for their dealers.

My understanding is that dealers get given them free.

They pop up on the bay and other sites from time to time. I paid in the region of £200 for it, which seems a lot for a clock, but they're very rare and it makes me smile, so what the hey! Its still about £3500 less than the PAM005 watch that its modeled on smile

I'd be interested to hear what an AD would say if you called tham and asked if they could get you one.

Love it. When you say quality, is it really well made compared to a £10 Argos wall clock then? Is the surround brushed aluminium? Even cooler that the lume actually works. I am very jealous esp as my wrists are too skinny for a Panerai watch.

Yes, its great quality. But then it is just a clock, so may well be no better than a £10 argos clock!

The quartz movements are of the best quality available and the second hand movement sweeps rather than ticking which looks very classy.

I guess if you're not *in to* your watches then you'd think it very daft indeed to spend £200+ on a wall clock, but if, like me, you're a huge watch and Panerai fan, then its worth every penny. Especially considering that they're like hens teeth.

I'd be interested to see if anyone can find another one for sale.

^^^ Don1, Where was it that you almost bought this for £60 Sir? It was not for sale on an auction basis, just a buy it now or make an offer site called ioffer.

Greg, thank you. It was ebay, but I'll look else where...
