Who's the longest Le Mans Vet ?

I have been going to the Le Mans 24-hours for the past 5 years so im still a bit wet behind the ears. I do wonder, how many years in a row people have been WITHOUT a break. Any offers for the top spot ?

Oh yea, I took this picture 2008 on thursday night qualifying. Nice.

1984 was my first year (I think). Missed out a couple in the early 1990s when the kids were small but this year must be about my 20th or 21st trip. Now less than two months to go.

This will be me and the missus 29th consecutive 24 Hours plus the first Classic so 30 trips in all.

First Le Mans 1969. Saw the GT40's racing. Saw the Porsche years, the Jaguar years, the Mazda screaming and winning, and now live at Le Mans. Does that get me anywhere up the list?

10th year for me, I saw the Mazda & the TWR Jag victories back in the early 1990's, then didn't go again until the Vette's started racing in GTS (now GT1) in 2001 (I know they actually started racing in 2000, but caught me on the hop & I managed to miss their first year back at le Mans). Been going ever since, but some how managed to miss last year, got massive withdrawal symtoms, so made sure I was booked in to see the Pratt & Miller boys take the last ever GT1 victory this year.

This year will be my 25th. For the last 6, I've been traveling to La Sarthe from FL, USA.
It's a long way to come for a piss-up in a field, with a load of noise going on in the background, but Le Mans does kind of get under your skin.

My first 24 hours: 1981. I've missed only 1987. I live 1h30 from the circuit so it's easier for me to get there compared to most of you.

your 25th, My 10th, guess we'd better get some champagne ordered eh (a lot of the rest of you PH's will have seen us dragging around 2 huge wheeled coolers of the stuff)

I think our crew must have some of the longest serving LM veterans combined?!

Would you be the folk who came from the states a few years ago? If so, we met up with you in the champagne tent and had a bloody good laugh. Have photos somewhere. I think you had 3 ladies with you if that helps.
Somewhat more bizarrely, a northern English chap who was with you was singing a song about farting. Happy times indeed
