Hi, i,m new here but I think I may have got caught by the plod on a bridge with a radar gun. I heard that the police have two weeks to issue a NIP, but others say it can be upto 6 months! Whos right?

They must send it 1st class within 14 days off offence.

So after day 15 you are 'safe' - unless it goes to court!

Not quite, it must be posted within the 15 days (14 days plus the day of the offence), therefore your receiving it could be up to 17 days. Also it goes to the registered keeper, so if that is you and over 17 days go by you should be safe. If you do get one check the postdate carefully.
