I broke my laptop.

So I'm going to have to get a new computer and I am thinking of getting one just for music production. As I play around a bit with dance music production.

Does anyone have ideas for necessities when I'm on a budget of <£600?

A laptop would be better, but cost restrictions point in the direction of a tower.

Are Carillon still making PCs?

I got a rack mount PC of thiers for music production, really quiet, never broke down, very reliable, still.
