Unfortunately not mine, but a good friend has lent me this until the end of the month, when i can take delivery of my new car (secondhand MX5 )

Stunning car to drive, the handling ability is just incredible

If i lent you that car and i saw your number on my phone i would think the worst and imagine it being to tell me its been damaged!

Depends on which one you get, I've only ever driven a clio 172 and yeah it handled fine but felt pretty slow to me. Obviously the MX is RWD which is always fun out of junctions or in a quiet industrial estate!

Nice car Mike

It hasn't had a re-spray (that I know of!) the original owner was in his mid fifties so
removed the 'Trophy' decal to tone it down a bit.

It looks cleaner than ever in the pic!

Hmmm...at 7k that's coming close to S2000 money....I think early 172 (I hate the later front end anyway), and save the rest for the trackday car project when I get a bigger garage...

there is no denying that an early 172 is a bit of a bargain buy at the moment, the trophy looks lovely though, even if it does relieve you of a few more beer tokens.

Yeah, I would imagine that not only is the Clio more practical but also more focussed, and would probably be quicker round a track too. I just can't resist a convertible where the engine revs that high!
If only had one car, I'm sure it would be one of these, if I could find one.
