Sparkling shiraz

Should it be served chilled or at room temp? The bottle doesn't say. Other sparkling reds have said served chilled so that's what I've done, and it's even nastier than other sparkling red I've tried... Should I leave the rest to warm up?

Chilled, I'd say. If it's really rough, try Crème de Cassis in it - this transforms any cheapo red.

somwhere in the middle really, not too low a temperature but definately lower than room temperature, I normally give them an hour in the fridge before demolishing

IMO sparkling reds are pretty pointless, bit like jogging...

Try a sparkling shiraz with fish and chips sat outside with a good view australian style then you'll be converts. Seppelt, Rockford, and Cockatoo Ridge all do a good one. Oh and it should be chilled.
