For the last two days I have been carrying out my most enjoyable detail to date, on a Maserati Gransport owened by a PH'er.....

The owner contacted me having previously called me in to detail his F355, which has since been changed for this Gransport.

This was a correction detail, with the additions of a wheels off arch clean & leather clean/feed.

The day started at 8:00am, when I got busy hovering the interior & cleaning the leather with Gliptone gentle leather cleaner, the fed with Giptone liquid leather conditioner.

Whilst inside the car I noticed a water stain on the back of the front passenger seat.....

This was treated with Chemical guys fabric clean, sprayed on, agitated, then extracted with the Vax V-020 & left to dry.....

The carbon work inside was given a layer of Dodo Supernatural.....

Plastics dressed with 303 Protectant & carpets hovered.....

And the worlds sexiest clock.....

Next up was the arches & wheels, car jacked up, wheels removed (one at a time) car supported on axle stands. This car was fitted with felt type arch liners.....

These were brushed with a Mothers upholstery brush, then the entire under arch was sprayed with G101 & washed off.....

The calipers were cleaned with Meg's Wheel Brightner & tardis.....

The backs of the wheels were treated with Bilberry @ 4:1 agitated with an Envy brush, then Tardis, topped off with Rim Wax & finally the backs of the tyres were treated with Swisswax Pneu.....

After all 4 arches & wheels backs were sorted it was time to sort the fronts of the wheels, again Bilberry 4:1.....

Starting with two doses of Valet Pro PH neutral snow foam, then PW'd off & all nooks, crannies & panels joints cleaned with G101 & Envy Brush again.....

Then the car was washed 2BM & rinsed off with water from my DF Peerles Dual filter.....

Time for the Dodo Purposfull purple, lubed with filtered water & a dash of Meg's Shampoo Plus, after the bonnet it looked like this.....

After claying the car was rinsed with water from the DF Peerless dual cartridge filter again and then dried with the Miracle Drying towel.....

Which left a clean, slightly swirly car.....

The paint readings were healthy.....

With the bonnet & boot lids having very thick paint.....

After some playing on the bonnet I opted for 1 hit of Men'z Power Gloss on a Meg's polishing (Yellow) pad, followed by 2 hits of P085RD on a Meg's finishing (beige) pad, leaving this.....

The front wings were similar.....

Before.....

After.....

That was it for day one.

Day two started with a good dust off.....

On the rear bumper there was a nsty scratch.....

Before.....

After.....

And the rest was pretty straight forwards, after polishing the paint was given a layer of Dodo Lime Prime Light, followed by a layer of Supernatural, topped with Zaino Z8. Tyres treated with Swisswax Pneu, plastics with G101, glss cleaned, wheels treated with Rim Wax.

Wow - those before and after light shots certainly show the difference! BTW, there is one shot where you can see the cars reg (thought you'd want to know as you've swirled the rest), and how much do you charge for this? (PM me if you don't want it all over the interweb!).

Lovely car but it always annoys me that they put that stupid sill on it. Ruins the lines of the car.

this is great...and the sheer variety of amusingly named products you can now use is cool! just looks so good finished, nice one.

I have to wash my sisters Smart car tomorrow and now tempted to take lots of pictures too and post up, but don't suppose it would generate the same interest!

rofl dammit I want a mint merkin and a Wookies fist! what's Tardis by the way? - couldn't find that one with Google (for obvious Dr Who reasons)
oh yeah....and turns out you need to keep your 'under 2 y.o. niece' away from Light Fantastic wax...she had a good mouthful yesterday!
