Strange cooling problem....
Discussion
Griff 500, 1994, preserp fitted with normally super modwise 2 stage cooling jobbie, with the run on after engine turned off.
Anyhow, fans come on at 90 ish, full, ie from the `original` source, so to speak, indicating that the modwise unit not working.....however, when I lower the dial to 40 degrees, it kicks in (the slower cycle), so it appears to be working but at a differnt temp according to dial.
Anyone else had this problem? And, yes, I realise the easiest thing to do would be to adjust accordingly (dial) but just want it right, really!
Ta in advance goodly easter bunnies......
Dave.

the dials never seem to be that accurate, I`d set full speed at 85 degree and half speed at 75 deg, just go by what your temp gauge is reading at the time and turn the dial until it starts the fans, once you know what the temp is them mark the casing next to the dial for reference.
They were accurate but not for last few drives!! Have gone with your suggestion, seems ok, coming on at around 80 and 90 ish respectively.....Dave.
