Barstewards, I will sticky this for a while for you smile Fleabay is going to be the obvious place mate, unless they were knicked to order for some 4 stud car so keep an eye out locally.

What area are you in?

I have a set of Estoril wheels I took off of my 96 500 a few months ago when I put on some pre-cat OZ rims. They are in reasonable nick with legal Toyo Proxy T1R's all round. I had intended to get them refurbed and put some track tyres on but haven't got round to it. If you want them for a reasonable price - let me know.

I can recomend Compomotive MO6 wheels if you decide to change.

I too have some Estorils with nearly new tyres all round that I really don't need, but hopefully your originals will be found - when all said and done they only fit Griffiths & Chimaeras properly.

Thats the scary part. Unless the scum didn't know what they were doing, it suggests one of us.

Were they perfect condition, or did they have any distingushing little scrapes and scratches?

The TVR valve caps are too easily removed to be a sure sign.

BTW, you can get wheels security marked. The car registration number gets etched into the wheel.

Had you had this done?

It's a good idea to have parts marked.

Cheers SS

I thought the same, but I've heard that a few cars have been done in the area (logging it with the police) and left on bricks in exactly the same way.

I don't think it was TVR specific, more likely opportunists, but if these wheels are put on anything other then a Griff they will stand out like a sore thumb.

Hi Argent

Sry to hear abt your wheels being stolen. Hope they get recovered. Re locking wheel nuts - I have used the McGards from Halfords. P/n 24157SU. They do the job fine.
