Seriously doubt you'll to weld anything mate.
I'm far from an expert but I've changed about half dozen wings in my days of crap(per) driving and I've never had to weld anything.
You're probably best getting your hands on a JTIS manual and going from there. It outlines the procedure if memory serves.
Failing that drop me an email and I'll dig out the pages for you as I've got to do the same job on my car in the summer.
Although I do find the rust strangly asthetically pleasing these days.
