X Works New Premises
Discussion
I've just dropped my Griffith off at X Works in Kirkham for a few jobs to be done, only to find that they have now moved into the "TVR Barn" in Kirkham. It's great to see Heath and Paul in smart new premises, and I have no doubt this move will enable them to expand their business in the way they truly deserve.

That's interesting, so i suppose that means that the barn is no longer on use by TVR, or whats left of it?

Yes, still totally independent of TVR, but sub-letting the garage space from Ben Lang/TVR. Ben Lang etc. will remain in the office space.
Good luck Heath & Paul, and can I be considered for the vacant receptionists post.

Keith doesn't look "vacant" to me !

I'll add my congratulations to them on a move into premises more fitting to their abilities....

I don't think for one minute there is any connection between X Works and the TVR management, and if there is, does it matter ? The fact is that these guys are the best people available to look after your TVR. I see from this months Sprint magazine that Heath was awarded an "Oscar" by the Car Club members for being the best TVR mechanic. That says it all really.

Thats interesting. X-works move in to the barn that is the new home of TVR but they always said that there has never been any connection between them and the TVR management. Something smells fishy to me, and i dont mean Fleetwood down the road from them.
Just to add my best wishes for Heath and Paul. They serviced my Griff two weeks ago and I have to say I was delighted with their level of knowledge and professionalism. Very helpful guys and their attention to detail was a revelation especially when compared to 'normal' garage service levels.

If you only knew the story behind the scenes, but you wont as your on the outside.Obviously.
There is no story other than they're a couple of independant guys who've moved into better suited premises, anything else is just down to chit chat and gossip.Sorry V8 grf,I forgot i know nothing. he he.
