Hi,I am new here,my name is Lucy a guy at a club last week told me I could find people on here who might help me with my new car.
I just bought my dream car a 911 a few weeks ago.I love it,it looks so cool and is really fast.

I know it is crazy for a young woman to buy one of these, but I had to have one.
My mum has been really kind and lets me keep it in the garage and her little car is outside now.
Thing is I like to keep it clean but it seems to get dirty so easily are there any special Porsche polishes I can use on my baby.

Hi Lucy,
Welcome to the forum.....congrats on your 911!
Have you joined the P.C.G.B.yet? (Porsche Club G.B.)
www.porscheclubgb.com In the monthly club mag there are several ads for polishes.
Zymol seems to be one of the best but is expensive.

Hi Lucy. Welcome to Pistonheads and well done on getting your first 911 and commandeering the garage.

I'd give Zymol the vote and recommend you get the "Titanium" starter kit.

hello lucy and welcome to the world of piston heads.
I must say the idea of a young woman driving a 911 is a really sexy one and i hope to meet up with you one day for a spin.
Good luck with the porsche, i just use Autoglym on my 911 which brings on a lovely deep shine. I tend to not let my car get too dirty either. I wash it probably 3 times a week, it only takes 15 minutes and it keeps it looking great. Chou for now.

Time spent polishing=time spent not driving!

Take it out of the garage and give it a good thrashing!

Buster is onto something there!
Swissol is great, had Mark Underwood, also known as the Waz Wizard spend a day on my 360 before I got rid of it. It looked the absolute nuts!

That's pretty impressive, because it looked like this before the treatment:

I have a red 965 with a 4 digit plate, usually being chased by a w reg silver boxter 's'. Will look out for a silver 993 and if in the area having fun i'll let you know.
