i want a pair of tickets for Blur at hyde park this summer. they were £47.50 face value, so i don't fancy the prospect of losing £100 to a fake/dodgy seller.

what websites would be the most reliable? ebay will be very hit & miss but has anyone used scarlet mist?

how does it work? is it a straight deal between third parties or is the website involved in any way to make sure you don't get ripped off?

any other sites worth visiting?

I have used get me in before and they are fine, no issues with getting the tickets etc. Their prices for Blur are actually OK:

They can get their hands on just about any ticket for any gig if you are willing to pay. As an example they had Led Zep tickets for the O2 up to a couple of hours before and they were genuine.

The Thursday gig at Hyde Park is not sold out.
Support acts on the Friday are better, but it's Blur I really want to see, so Thursday it is for me.

I know what you mean, flying down from Aberdeen, 2 nights in Hotel and 2 days off work all for a gig........ Hope it's as good as it should be.

Support is:

On Thursday: Foals, Crystal Castles, Friendly Fires and Hypnotic Brass Ensemble.

On Friday: Vampire Weekend, Amadou and Mariam, Florence and the Machine and Deerhoof.
