Disc Pad help?

Hi

Today I accidently broke the stupid little peg that keeps the pad from moving about. Iv looked on hundreds of websites even their own, wiggle and ebay dont have a replacement peg or even the same brake pad system. Its a V-brake system and its got Vuelta USA on the brake. Im just thinking maybe I should just replace the whole brake system with a much newer one.

??? Is it V brakes or Disc brakes? What peg? The little cir-clip that slips through the rubber pad and it's carrier? Or the bolt that holds it all together on the brake arm? Or the post on the pad carrier that goes through the bolt?

Its a disc brake,the metal attachment that hold the pad in place snapped, I contacted the manufaturer and theyve stopped making them so I have no choice but to get a new brake system.

Disc brake? Get some Avid BB7s if you're on cables. You won't regret it.

its a disc brake. It was the back pad so I took off the front pad and put it inthe back as I dont use the front much. Once I get enough money Im going to get this.

what make of caliper do you have ?

Its fine, I have just bought a new shimano brake system for front and back.
