So, out in the town center for dinner on Saturday night. Where is there to go out in Aylesbury like a club or similar?

Cheers

Not great, the 'Bury nightlife. St James's can be ok'ish (in a small clubby bar kinda way)

There's also the usual Chicagos etc

Grew up there and left about 5 years ago, so things may have changed (hopefully for the better but I doubt it).

St James is/was a lap dancing club just down from KFC/Sainsburys.
Chicago's and Yates is by the Cinema.

That's it, that's all I can remember. I used to go to MK for nights out tbh. Aylesbury is/was crap.

Funnily enough as we are in The Lounge forum there used to be a club called The Lounge next to LLoyds on the Market Square.

No that place is horrible. There are a few places like Yates, the Litten Tree, Under 31, St James and the usual Chicagos but personally i'd rather just go to the Bricklayers.

Bricklayers is on the Gyratory IIRC.

I have remembered one really good thing about Aylesbury. Gi-Gees Kebab shop on Kingsbury Square. The Full-On Donar is legendary!

Always thought 'Mr Rice' (Oasis I think) was better, but its not a good town for nightlife.

Well when i visit the folks next i'll have to try this Gi-Gees out. The Bricklayers is a nice chilled out pub on the gyratory with very attractive bar maids.

It seems that Mendozas is the place to be in Aylesbury atm for people over 25. Don't know how old you are though. I have lived here for the last 16 years, and tbh, it's not the best place to go out in the world!!

I was born in Aylesbury and left when I was 18ish. Its a total s**t hole and always has been. Its never had a decent night life because the council would never allow a proper night club to be built.

The best thing about Aylesbury is that there are plenty of roads to get you out of the place.
