Rear Exhaust mount ?
Discussion
Can anyone post a pic of the how the rear pipe is mounted to the body ?
My 400se has a RTR stainless system which seems to have had a mount cut off from the N/S corner (just after the over axle section on the 90 deg bend) I can understand this as there is nothing on the body / chassis to connect it to !
RTR have then fitted a Chim "hump back bridge" style mount through the floor where the pipe passes under the boot which was knackered, looked crap but now I've cut and shut the pipe to clear the drive shaft doesn't fit anyway.
My current plan is to fit a standard "pigs snout" type mount between the diff carrier and the the pipe somewhere near the middle of the boot floor, before I do that just wondered how it was usually done at the factory ?
