What colour is a DB9R?
Discussion
I believe that the DBR9's are Aston Martin Racing Green which is a stunning colour and totally different from the 'Fast Track' production colour of California Sage.
To confuse matters, some of the old Aston Racers, such as DP212, were and are painted in California Sage, which is a very long standing Aston colour, while others, such as the old DB3S's were painted a more traditional British Racing Green, which I would define as what Bentley call Barnato Green. This arises from the fact that there really is no defined BRG, nor has there ever been, the teams just suit themselves.
I don't know what the origin of BRG is, perhaps someone can enlighten us.

Is it not Aston Martin Almond Green??
There are two colours AM Racing Green and Almond Green which are subtly different. It looks gorgeous, I admit, but it looks as if you have basically bought a new car then entered it for a concours. Is that not cheating. What about the hours of labour to achieve originality? I know the objective is to have the car as it left the factory, but it surely defeats the object if it only left the factory a few hours before!
thank you for your comments......but.....
car is not new....it's an 05 model year....i didn't buy it new...am 2nd owner..and have owned it for just over 2 yrs.....and alot of work goes into preparing my car and keeping it clean.....as i use it most days and has over 40k miles on the clock......so i will def take your comments as a very good compliment..!!!!!
