All,

I'm off to Las Vegas in 30 minutes. I am going for the big one this trip. I have made a promise that if at any point I am up $50,000 I will head straight to the shops and buy a watch valued at up to $15,000. Any suggestions?

I already have a Panerai, IWC, Glasshute, and a Rolex. What's next?

I'm leaning towards something dressy, JLC Reverso Squadra or a Master Compressor. Perhaps a Vacheron Overseas.

What else?

Wish me luck!

Girard Perregaux looks like it would fit into that collection rather nicely.

I didn't see that one !!! what brands do they have?

tourneau is supposed to be the largest watch shop in the world... i went in on valentines day last year, was dealt with by a french guy called Michel, he was very good, sold me 2 Rolexes. a 16600 SD for me, and a nice small sized oyster perpetual for the wife

Gotta be a JLC, however, the Squadra is huge. What about a GMT Grande Reverso? Alternatively a Lange, assuming they make one for 15k.

Fairplay, you own some very nice pieces but that looks like something from Ratners...at best.

Thanks for the suggestions. All moot as I didn't ever get up to $50k. I did go up $10k for a bit. Overall, lost a little and had fun. better luck next time for me.
