Dear All,

I've noticed my MPG being +10% in the last week or so, say 22 vs. 20.
Might this be down to my 10 mile commute being far less congested during the school holidays?
I'm spending far more time moving, rather than creeping in a jamscratchchin

AFAIK 'tis the same fuel, same driving, er, style, similar weather.

CV8+ focus pac,

regards,
Jet

Sounds like you've answered your own question! wink

But yes, that'll be why. Braking wastes fuel - and with the Monaro you'll be enjoying the acceleration a lot more so you'll use more fuel. :P

Is that all? Must be something wrong with your car - plenty of people on here rekon they get 30 mpg from their Monaros rolleyes

I think the warmer weather helps. Noticed a similar thing from my Mondy 2.2 TDCI. Over the freezing winter was getting about 38 mpg now it's about 15 deg c warmer I'm getting 45 mpg.

Still only getting 18 mpg average from the Monaro.
