Bad colours for exotic cars.

It never ceases to amaze me, how people can spend hundreds of thousands of pounds on exotic cars, then spec them in awful colours.
Just in the locality, I have seen a beige Maserati QP, a white RR Phantom, a brown Bentley Conti and a maroon Murcielago Spider. There is even a guy in Sandbanks, with a metallic pink Bentley GTC. I guess, it might be his wife's.

Suspect you've seen my murci roadster, as I let a friend take it for a drive today. It's actually purple but being pearlesant tends to change colout from a redish colour to deep purple. Forunately from the most important point of view (that of the driver/owner) such supercar is about it's performance which is surprising unaffected by it's colour.

Tempted by the spectra flare colour I saw at the weekend. So it may not be purple for much longer anyway.

Looks like the same car, but defo looked maroon when I saw it. I reckon a Murci needs to be a flattering colour.

I personally think that Murcis look great in yellow or white.
Yours looks great in your first picture.
And no, I'm not a genius. If I was, I would be fortunate to be able to earn millions and own a car like yours.

Colour is nothing to worry about anyway. For 5K +VAT it can be any colour of the rainbow, or all of the colours of the rainbow

PM me, at least I can let you have a drive as you're local. You can then see it in more flattering light. I'm not keen on the redish colour it sometimes looks (not usual) hence I may re-colour it.

That said, they shouldn't all be white oranage ot yellow.

Beige is all different kinds of wrong! It makes me think of those dreadful colours cars like Morris Marinas and Allegros (etc) used to be in the 60's & 70's!


Pink is awesome though - with the caveat that it has to be driven by a really cute girl!

At least it would guarantee that you'd never borrow the missus' car! lol
