capability to stop a civil uprising?
Discussion
Just as a matter of interest really as I know we are a lazy nation when it comes to venting our spleens on the streets.
But if we as a nation did actually go tilt and civil unrest started in the U.K do we have enough enforcers be it military and police to stop it dead??
your thoughts??

I doubt it could happen. We'd have to be able to fight back and guns aren't readily available. Besides, we don't agree about things. Who exactly is going to form the uprising? What is the cause? Excessive taxes due to government incompetence? That's only affects the hard working and they/you/us are too worried about our homes/jobs/freedom from prison/getting our kids to school in the morning to take action. That's why they (the government) invented e-petitions.

Many a true word spoken in jest! particularly the anaethetising value of the no.10 e-petition. a big red star to whoever dreamed that one up.
