VXR8 Minus Spoiler

Have the spoiler off at the mo as I am painting the mounts black, cant remember who it was but someone was asking what it would look like without a spoiler.......Voila!

Looks better I think, less "barry" haha. I think it would look even better with the front air splitter/lower bumper painted white the same as the rest of the bumper. Anyone good with photoshop?!

I must admit off looks quite good. Much more subtle. Plus Im sure the spoiler is a good drag device for reduction of aerodynamics.
Not sure about the 4 holes in the boot lid though! I think it will have to go back on when I get around to it.

I like my CV8 without a spoiler however I think the VXR8 needs the rears spoiler.

If this is the way? Then it must have the whole number plate recess filled to give it's self a a nice fat arse, IMO it'd look very cool and "euro" stylie.

I must stress that I am not leaving it like this! Just painting the mounts for the spoiler...but it has been interesting reading comments, part of me does actually like it but at heart it needs the OTT spoiler for max effect.

Will be interesting to see the difference on runs at VMAX as I will be doing a number with and a number without...

I like it from the side views thing it looks very different but that straight on view from the back just looks wrong for some reason! Not a good wrong I might add.

nice and clean, I think they look better with a leaner, less fussy top lines.
I'd leave it off or go with the low-line senator rear lip.
it's all personal tastes tho.

I'll be interested how much the spoiler deforms, Wortec told me it'll happen above about 170.

It'd be interesting to see if a stronger (but similar looking) version is available!!

Yep - it looks shite!

WTF were they on when they designed the rear end? Looks like they gave up half way through the design process and stuck some temporary lights on the back. The lights are way too small.
