Track Day Insurance For Bikes

Hi, apologies if there is already a discussion on this topic (perhaps someone would be so kind as to send me the thread/link?) I am going to be at Snetterton in June on my GSXR and will be going with a few mates, but it ocurred to us that some sort of insurance might be handy in case we're not so handy on the day. My questions are: (1) How much should I expect to pay so that my bike is fully covered including the fancy fairings etc.? (2) Is there a good broker/insurance company worth using? (3) Is it really worth insuring?

I looked into hiring a bike at the track for the day (approximately £190), but the excess was about £500!
