Well, I now have three hours to go.

After 5 years in my current job today is my last day biggrin

Been head hunted to join another company in the same field but as an Account Manager rather than an Internal

Can't wait unitl Monday to start at the new place. They even have a company Elise that they send people on track days as a prize thumbup

Some think I'm mad leaving in the current climate, and when i am saving up to get married in September. Personally speaking I think this is the right one for me.

Someone I know ran a 355 as a company prize car not so many years back. It was given as a reward to the highest earning salespeople or some sort of performance related perk.

Elise is not a company car as such. It is all liveried up in a suppliers colours (advertising) and sits in the car park the majority of the time to be lent out to top performers etc. wink

In this climate you can just as easily find yourself redundant at your current employer. A move can be very motivating to achieve more. Good luck.thumbup

Haha I bet your company is "ACE*" to work for eh? I think I saw the car twice in Two days. Wednesday it was at Elvington where I'd taken my son for a 6th Gear day. Then as I was coming out of 'Uddersfield I saw the Elise on the ring road (sounded great driving).

BTW I suspect your from 'round 'ere ergo your Username smile

Didn't somewhere use one of those Suzuki 4x4's as a reward, due to their good turnover?

Congrats to the OP, btw.

I heard that one too - from an insurance broker who was trying to get quotes for their fleet policy. He had no problems with most of their cars (green Minis IIRC), but the Ferrari was causing him grief because all sales staff were eligible, including the 17-year old lads rofl
