That floating feeling

I have my car booked in for its 90k service in just over a week. Over the past couple of months the front has become 'floaty' when turning into corners. Once settled everything feels as it should. There is also an occasional knocking when turning tightly at low speeds. I think the bushes/shocks need some attention, as I believe they are a weak point on my car? Would this be the general concencus?

The car is a MK1 Leon Cupra TDi.

The floaty feeling might be the shocks, as for the knock at slow speeds, that may be the suspension arms.

Get it up on a ramp and inspected.
