After just recieving an email from a scamera partnership i had given up on, i find myself inebriated and sending such things as this in return to them.......sorry one and all, i am slipping, and it was sent in a moment of weakness......
What rot! "safety" cameras are used only when all else fails!
Is that so? Then explain this. What happens when the scameras fail to reduce accidents at "blackspots"?
What do you attribute your failure to? Cosmic rays?
The recent report in certain national newspapers regarding the siting of these money generators in the Avon and Somerset areas proves beyond a doubt that all you people are interested in is peoples hard earned cash!
How you have the nerve to call yourselves a "safety" organisation is well beyond me.
Ill tell you what, ill do a study of the roads youve highlighted as being accident blackspots, and then see how many of them have speed cameras on them at the locations mentioned.
Whats the betting that most are on straight roads out in the "sticks"? Or in areas that are immediately after a 30 zone to a nsl or 40 zone? The same thing applies to your talivan units.
