rofl Does it bother you that much?

Or are you one of the types that found it offensive a few days after it had happened?

actually it does.

I didnt listen to the original broadcast, and I didnt complain. It doesnt mean that I dont think what they said was very wrong.

In any other job it would get you instant dismissal. Brand stood up for his actions, apologised and left the BBC.

Ross took a 12 week holiday, has come back and after the official announcement made a joke about it. he isnt sorry for what happened, and should not be allowed to stay.

Wont be long before they are replaced with 'one puff, one dyke, one mentally challenged gay black gypsy jew and one illegal islamic immigrant midget & a piano' just to cover all bases.

I caught a few seconds of this prog last night where the host was messing around with what appeared to be a cadrboard iron maiden {now, there's a thought...}

It's an extreme form of supply and demand, afaic, that allows celebrity of his kind to be so handsomely rewarded: he's just not that good.

Crass of humour with so-so wit and a manner so far below the polished mastery of old Parky ito actual interview technique, it seems inconceivable that effectively a tripartate market should exist (BBC, ITV & Sky) and be so hamstrung in it's various abilities to introduce real talent from other sources [random e.g. Clive Anderson,] that they feel some competitive compulsion to sink whatever inconceivable wad of remuneration it is into JR's vast offshore account.

I appreciate 'it is just the market' and there's no arguing with that: it's a genuine case of 'imho' and equal surprise that such reward for so little physically exists at all.

Good luck to him, I suppose. How odd.

.. his comments last night hardly raised more than a 0.00000001 on the "morally outraged he's earning more than anyone else and should be humble and meek" scale.

He's quite amusing at times - self deprecating, crass and a has a rather egocentric view. Parky he's not - but then again, the likes of those that Parky interviewed are not around any more either.

There is an off button you know. For all of you spending your licence fee on Wogan's equally huge salary to wake you up of a morning, I like to spend mine listening to JR.

Yes, the Brand show was terribly offensive, but incredibly funny and the fact that Mr Sachs seems more shocked that his grand daughter is in a band called the Setanic Sluts than she shagged Brand is telling. Obviously though, it was not a thing that should have been on the BBC and I was shocked to see they even put it out on the podcast (which I subscribed to).

Lots of things crop up like this once in a while. Remember the BBC banning 'Relax' in 1983?

I dislike the man. I worked on some awards with him, but last night I thought he did a splendid job of turning Lady Gaga into something from nothing. That woman needs some trainning on how to answer questions with more than one word answers.

Her dress in the song performance was however a PH man's wet dream.

If you think he's that bad, just change the channel. But if you really must complain about this complete non-event, have the courtesy of spelling both his and Sachs' names right. If nothing else it'd give this pointless moan a tiny bit more credibility.

Apologies for spelling.

To put his comments in context. The BBC had just played the Ofcom announcement regarding that the offensive comments from Brand and Ross.

It ended with a website address to download the ruling.

Ross's immediate retort, his first words of the show were to the effect of" did someone write that down, i for one cant hear enough of that", whilst laughing.

Not acceptable practice. He was (apparently) allowed back to the BBC on the basis he cleaned his act up. That just showed he is not apologetic for the previous comments.

But you were listening? And that's why the BBC pay him to do what he does, i.e. because lots and lots of people listen to him on Radio and watch him on TV.

God forbid that Radio 2 reverts back to the boring sh!te they used to broadcast at weekends a few years ago!

Your anger at hearing anything Ross said is easily solved by not listening to or watching the talentless waste of skin ever again.

Sure, his continued existence will still annoy slightly, but the only way to avoid the anger is to switch off. Permanently.
