A Scamera has sgone!

A scamera in my area (A27 Titchfield, Fareham) has been missing for quite some time now. I thought it was going to be replaced but it looks like its gone for good.

Is this some hope that ours voices are being heard?

It was proberbly removed because it was too well known (been there a loooong time) so not generating enough income. I've never seen it flash.

In the 1hr drive from my old apartment to the parents house. Over the course of three years the number of speed cameras went down from 8 to 5.

I think the official explanation would be one of:
1) Reduction in accidents to below the limit required for camera
2) Road now made safer therefore no need for camera any more.

On the A45 between Cov and B'ham there was a bad junction with a camera. Now the junction's been improved the camera has gone. The ABD kicked up a fuss when the improvements were done and no doubt claim "it was the ABD wot won it".
