Wales on one of the May bank holidays?

As I saw people discussing on the IOM thread - who would be up for and available for a Wales hooning weekend, either 2nd to the 4th of May, or the 23rd to the 25th?

Not sure about north or south Wales, but either would tickle my fancy. I know some of you lot have done this before, so I'm sure you have some good experience with what's the best idea.

Ben, John D and myself did the top half of Wales on the way to the IOM.
Stayed at Aberystwyth on Wednesday night and Chester on Thursday night and had a full day in between - but this was the Thursday before Easter so traffic was reasonably light.
I also reckon the Welsh police would be out in force on a sunny bank holiday weekend making some cash for their summer holidays...
