Anyone on here run a E65 BMW 750i?
Discussion
Drove a 56 plate 750li this morning. Checked the computer and the average over the last 1k miles was 21.7 mpg. Previous car a 99 S500L used to see a long term average of 19.5mpg.
I'm guessing 16 around town and 25/6 on an 80 mph motorway run. Providing you're not using it for a 5 mile/40 minute traffic jam commute to work everyday you should see 20+.
Awesome cars.

i've got one that i've run from pretty much new and it has 114k miles on it now. Nothing has broken, it's a facelifted 2005 onwards model and a vast improvmeent over the previous one.
MPG wise i get close to, if not 30mpg on a run and maybe sub 20 around town but my average over the last 4k miles which is a combination has been 24.8-not bad for a big car and it's still silent!!

Jesus, my previous car, Saab 95 Aero only did that as an average, less than half the capacity too! Good going that.MPG wise i get close to, if not 30mpg on a run and maybe sub 20 around town but my average over the last 4k miles which is a combination has been 24.8-not bad for a big car and it's still silent!!
