Starting to consider the cosworth convertion for next winters project.
Seen this on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FORD-GRANADA-2-9-24V-COSWORT...

What are the expensive parts needed for the conversion after the engine/ecu assuming manifolds
Has anyone blogged a converstion.
What to look for in the donor to avoid high rebuild costs on the engine, what mileage etc.

What is the performance like after conversion?

Made some good progress at the weekend on the S, just need the immobiliser sorting out (guy coming out of wednesday) and she'll be ready to start up (in theory). I may be so happy I'll ditch the conversion ideas.

Mike,

If you look on the back pages until you get to a thread started on the 30th of March (Cossey engines, how many fitted etc), you will see all you need to know....I think its about 5 pages back.

nope, i wasn't going to buy the engine just yet, just planning ahead, spotted it and thought some one might be interested.

Its probably been nailed for the last 10 years of its life!
