968 Fuel Surge

Anyone got any good ideas about stopping this, I have a new fuel pump and rear fuel filter canister.

As pump and filter are at the back it does seem to struggle to get the fuel forward -- might there be something else I need to check upstream eg dirt in the lines -- or is there another filter adjacent to the engine?

Only occurs on trackdays.

Not sure if there are indeed two cannisters but at least there is a big one behind the left front wing, just in front of the passenger door.
Could be good to check it, although I don't think this thing ever causes any trouble ... ?
