Where's the best place to get Wedge parts without getting fleeced by the dealers?

Try Peninsula in Devon. I got trailing arm bushes from them for under half the cost off everyone else who quoted for me. They're also really helpfull and friendly and don't look down their noses at you like some main dealers because you've "got an old wedge".

Unless you need TVR made bits, the original manufacturers are often pretty cheap. If you go to www.soi.city.ac.uk/nick/tvr/tas_alt_pts_1st.html or Mike's wedge pages you'll find parts listings for consumables (balljoints, brake discs etc).

Hi,

I have some parts listed under the 'Maintenance Tab' on the Wedge site.

The best place for wedge bits is David Gerald TVR, they have or can get most bits - talk to Doug if you can or alternatively John, there good guys. They have a web site and for tell number are in Inkberrow, Worcestershire. Alternatively try Tower view Racing Services, in London. Other Wedge spares areas treat with caution.

I have to agree with gwilson. David Gerald TVR - great service for older cars, lots cheaper than main dealers, their Phone number is (01386) 793237 for mail order.

Just bought some bits from Wedge Automotive - no problem, not expensive.
